Bill Serritella
Bill Serritella was also presented his Award for July during the August meeting. He is an exceptional and very caring Brother Knight. As our Lord said, if you help one of mine, you are helping me. Believing in this wholeheartedly, Brother Bill helped his parents financially for a good portion of his working life.
Bill attends all our Knights Council Meetings and regularly helps with all the set-up, washes dishes for the Knights and Men's Club events, and even purchases meals for others during certain charity events.
Brother Bill believes you must have fun along with all the work you do. Bill supports a number of the extracurricular activities at Sacred Heart and the local community. A few things that come to mind are the Sacred Heart Wednesday Card Playing events and the Exercise Classes he attends every Tuesday and Thursday. Additionally, Bill plays Bocce Ball Team events every Thursday afternoon and uses his proven skills to help maintain the Village Bocce Ball Lanes.
Bill continually volunteers his time to help out our Hot Spring Village Animal Shelter. One of those most noteworthy events would be the help he provides to the Veterinarians during our periodic Spay/Neuter Clinics. Not only does Bill perform labor functions during each clinic, but he also collects, takes home and washes all the dirty towel, and delivers the clean towels back to all the Veterinary Clinics to be used during the next Spay/Neuter Clinic.
Another area near and dear to Brother Bill's Heart is the enjoyment he gets in building Wooden Toys which are given to the Kids in Jackson House at Christmas time.
Like I said before, Brother Bill Serritella is an exceptional Knight. I am proud to call Bill a Brother Knight and a friend. Bill exemplifies all that it means to be a Knight of Columbus. Brother Bill is well deserving of the July 2025 Knight of the Month distinction.
