ED AUCOIN - RECEIVING KNIGHT OF THE MONTH AWARD
It is with great honor and admiration that we recognize Ed Aucoin as our Knight of the Month for September 2025. A proud 4th Degree Knight, Ed has consistently exemplified the core values of our Order through his selfless service and unwavering commitment to our community. While he may not always seek the spotlight, his behind-the-scenes contributions have made a significant impact, and it is clear that his dedication to both faith and charity is truly remarkable.
Ed has distinguished himself in a variety of ways, contributing his time and energy to several key initiatives:
Assisting in the Baby Bottle Campaign: Ed has been a steadfast supporter of this vital fundraiser, working diligently to support pro-life causes and help raise funds for those in need.
Manning HSV Gates for CPID (Tootsie Rolls): Ed has generously volunteered his time at the HSV gates, helping to raise money for the Citizens with Intellectual Disabilities (CPID), an initiative close to his heart.
Usher and Eucharistic Adorer: Whether it’s ensuring the smooth flow of Mass or dedicating his time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, Ed has shown a deep devotion to our faith and worship.
KofC Blood Drive Volunteer: For the past 14 years, Ed has given his time and effort to assist with the Knights of Columbus Blood Drive, ensuring its success year after year and helping to save countless lives in the process.
Ed's quiet humility and consistent service are a testament to the spirit of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism that we, as Knights, strive to embody. His actions speak volumes about the kind of man he is—one who understands that the greatest service is often done out of sight, with no expectation of recognition.
