HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, AR — The Daniel P. Sullivan Knights of Columbus Council 10208, based at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village, has once again earned the prestigious Star Council Award from the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council for the 2025–2026 fraternal year.
The Star Council Award is one of the highest distinctions a local Knights of Columbus council can receive. It recognizes outstanding achievement in membership growth, charitable and faith-based programs, promotion of fraternal benefits, and organizational excellence.
According to council leadership, this latest recognition marks the 21st time in the past 22 years that Council 10208 has earned the Star Council Award, an extraordinary record of sustained excellence in service to the Church and community.
Throughout the year, Council 10208 has continued its longstanding tradition of supporting Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and the surrounding communities. Members dedicate countless volunteer hours to charitable fundraising, community outreach, faith-based activities, and support for veterans, first responders, and families in need.
Among the organizations benefiting from the council's charitable efforts are Special Olympics Arkansas, The Caring Place, Jackson House, New Beginnings Pregnancy Resource Center, and Change Point Pregnancy Care and Parenting Resource Center.
Past Grand Knight Randy Schnoebelen expressed his appreciation for the dedication of the council's members:
"This award reflects the extraordinary commitment of our Brother Knights and their families. Our council is blessed with men who consistently give their time, talents, and resources to help others. Receiving this recognition year after year is truly an honor, but the greatest reward comes from knowing that our efforts are making a positive difference in our parish and throughout our community."
The council's continued success is made possible through the dedication of its members, the support of their families, and the encouragement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus parish community.
Founded in 1882 by Blessed Michael McGivney, the Knights of Columbus is an international Catholic fraternal service organization dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity.
