April Family of the Month 2026 Mike and Chris Frantz

Mike and Chris Frantz receiving the Family of the Month Award

Family of the Month – April 2026
Mike and Chris Frantz

Mike and Chris exemplify what it means to live a life of faith, service, and commitment to both parish and community. Their dedication is steady, generous, and often behind the scenes—but always deeply impactful.

Mike’s many contributions reflect a life of faithful service. He serves as Head Usher for the Saturday 4:00 PM Mass and has been a weekly Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration (PEA) adorer since its very beginning, truly a devoted prayer warrior. He is always willing to lend a hand through Helping Hands and is a dedicated member of the parish Christmas decoration team. Beyond the parish, Mike volunteers with the Animal Welfare League spay/neuter clinic and assists as a printer cartridge recycling volunteer. For the past 20 years, he has also supplied and maintained an American flag at the entrance to his Sanchez neighborhood—a visible and lasting sign of patriotism and pride.

Chris is equally devoted in her service and ministry. She is a member of the Ladies of the Sacred Heart, St. Anthony Guild #7, and leads the Parish Funeral Ministry, offering comfort and support to families during their time of need. She is an active Helping Hands volunteer and, like Mike, has been a faithful weekly Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration (PEA) adorer from the very beginning. Chris also lovingly irons hundreds of “tiny angel gowns” made for stillborn babies, which are distributed to hospitals across the United States. In addition, she volunteers weekly at the Animal Welfare shelter.

Together, Mike and Chris demonstrate a profound commitment to faith, compassion, and service. Their quiet dedication and generous hearts make a lasting difference in the lives of so many.

In grateful recognition of all they do, we are proud to honor Mike and Chris Frantz as the Knights of Columbus Family of the Month for April 2026.
