The Knights of Columbus Council 10208 is honored to recognize Ted and Lou Ann as our Family of the Month for June 2026. Together, they embody the principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity through their steadfast faith, generous spirit, and unwavering commitment to serving God, their parish, and our community. Their lives reflect the Christian values that strengthen both our Council and Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
Ted is a dedicated Third and Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus who continually answers Christ's call to serve others. He volunteers with the Junior Golf Program in Hot Springs Village, mentoring and encouraging local youth while helping instill the values of sportsmanship and integrity. At Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Ted faithfully serves as an altar server, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion to the Sick, and has provided outstanding leadership as Head Usher for the past two years. He is also an active member of the Sacred Heart Men's Club, participates in the COR Scripture Study Group, and generously assists in delivering food baskets to families in need.
Lou Ann shares the same spirit of joyful and compassionate service. She is an active member of the Ladies of the Sacred Heart (LOSH) and St. Monica Guild, where she faithfully supports the many ministries of our parish. She volunteers with both the Jackson House and the Loan Closet ministries, helps deliver food baskets to those in need, and supports numerous LOSH charitable fundraisers throughout the year. As a lead volunteer for both adult and youth faith formation programs and retreats, Lou Ann has touched countless lives through her dedication and encouragement. She also serves as an altar server and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion to the Sick, while faithfully attending daily Mass. Her commitment to both her spiritual life and personal wellness reflects the energy, enthusiasm, and love she brings to every ministry she serves.
Together, Ted and Lou Ann are an inspiring example of Christian discipleship in action. Their willingness to serve wherever they are needed, their deep devotion to their Catholic faith, and their genuine love for their parish family have made a lasting impact on all who know them. As they celebrate their first wedding anniversary on June 15, they continue to share their faith, talents, and generous hearts in service to others, demonstrating that a life centered on Christ is a blessing to the entire community.
