John Szczepaniak

John is a dedicated Fourth Degree Sir Knight and an active member of our Color Guard, proudly representing the principles and values of our Order. His commitment to the Catholic faith is clearly evident through his faithful service as an altar server and as a dependable adoration substitute, always willing to step in whenever needed.

Behind the scenes, John consistently demonstrates humility, generosity, and a true servant’s heart. He volunteers as a dishwasher at Knights of Columbus meetings and events, quietly helping ensure the success of our gatherings. His willingness to take on even the smallest tasks—both at Mass and during Fourth Degree meetings—reflects his deep sense of duty, fraternity, and devotion to service.

John is currently attending OCIA classes alongside his wife, Mary, as they continue to grow together in their faith journey. In addition, he serves as a devoted caregiver to both his wife and stepson, exemplifying the true meaning of love, sacrifice, and family commitment.

He has also participated in several Knights of Columbus-sponsored retreats, strengthening his spiritual life and bringing that renewed faith and inspiration back to our council.

John’s dedication, humility, and faithful service embody the very best qualities of a Knight of Columbus. Through his example, he inspires others to live their faith through service, compassion, and fraternity.

For his outstanding commitment to our Order, his parish, and his family, we are proud to recognize Sir Knight John Szczepaniak as our Knights of Columbus Knight of the Month for May 2026.
