Knight of the Month – June 2026
Keith Demele
It is with great pleasure that we recognize Keith Demele as our Knight of the Month.
Although Keith became a member of the Knights of Columbus in May 2026, he immediately embraced the principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity that define our Order. From the moment he joined, Keith demonstrated an exceptional willingness to serve wherever help was needed.
Keith volunteered for our Special Olympics activities and quickly became an active participant in the Council's Burritos To Go program. During this event, he worked alongside fellow Knights in the preparation of nearly 500 burritos, helping ensure the success of this important fundraiser and outreach effort.
His commitment did not end with food preparation. Keith personally drove approximately 75 miles delivering burritos and excess food to charitable organizations in the Hot Springs area. He also delivered burritos to the dedicated men and women of the Hot Springs Village Police Department and Fire Department, expressing our Council's appreciation for their service to the community.
In addition to his volunteer efforts, Keith regularly attends COR Faith Formation, demonstrating his commitment to both spiritual growth and active participation in the life of the Council.
For a new member to step forward so quickly and enthusiastically is truly commendable. Keith's generosity, dedication, and servant leadership have already made a positive impact on our Council and our community.
Please join me in congratulating Keith Demele, our Knight of the Month, and thanking him for his outstanding service and commitment to the Knights of Columbus. Well done, Keith!
